A good number for the show...
Orphan Black has parlayed its critical acclaim into good ratings for its season two premiere. The show, which earned Tatiana Maslany a Golden Globe nomination, brought in 620,000 viewers per TV Line. Of those viewers, 391,000 were in the coveted 18 - 49 demographic.
Those numbers are down slightly in its overall viewership from the series premiere, but up huge from its season one finale of 376,000. The demo numbers is a series high and double the average for season one.
Meanwhile, the site says that Salem premiered to 1.5 million viewers with 650,000 in the 18 - 49 demo. That's the highest-watched show on WGN America in seven years and a whopping 635% jump from the network's average during that timeslot. It scored 2.3 million total viewers when you count in the replay, which puts it on par with the Live+Same Day numbers for Mad Men's season seven premiere.
