Johnny Depp Avoids Subpoena in Limo Homicide Case
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.25.2014

Johnny Depp will not take the stand in the case of a deranged woman who killed a woman with her limousine. TMZ reports that Depp was served with a subpoena at the premiere for Transcendence in the case of Nancy Lekon, who allegedly drove another woman down. Lekon told police that she was dating Depp and Lekon's attorney thought that Depp's testimony would help with an insanity plea.

However, since both sides of the case are agreeing on the record that Depp has no connection to Lekon, he will not be called in. So that'll be some time saved from his day, hopefully to read his scripts better before signing onto another bad one.
