Dane DeHaan and Jamie Foxx Explain The Process of Creating Their Amazing Spider-Man 2 Villains
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.27.2014

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is just six days away here in the US, and that means there's still six days of hype and promotion. SHH's Edward Douglas has one example of that in a new video interview with Dane DeHaan and Jamie Fox, who respectively play Harry Osborn/Green Goblin and Electro. The two actors spoke with the site about what went into the creation of their renditions of the roles and were asked

With Sony Pictures' The Amazing Spider-Man 2 already playing all over the world, the cast of the Marc Webb-directed sequel finally returned to New York City for the movie's North American premiere and to do some interviews for the movie. Foxx talks about the origin of Max Dillon and how it goes back to his In Living Colour days, while DeHaan says he was involved in figuring out Harry's style and utilizing the vanity of the character in the comics, relating it to the "trust fund baby hipster types" that are prevalent today.

They also said that they don't know a lot about the Sinister Six movie, but DeHaan noted that they're obviously setting up for something bigger and that they may be involved. Foxx expressed interest as well.

The film opens on May 2nd in North America.
