Ben Affleck Banned From Hard Rock Casino for Counting Cards
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.02.2014

Ben Affleck may be an A-lister, but that didn't stop him from getting a lifetime ban from the Hard Rock Casino for counting cards. TMZ reports that Affleck was eighty-sixed from the casino after security caught him counting.

The site reports that Affleck was in the city with his wife Jennifer Garner, having planned the trip as a romantic week before he heads off to shoot Batman vs. Superman and headed to the Casino for some blackjack at a high-stakes table on Tuesday. Sources say that Affleck was spotted counting cards and approached him, saying that they had determined him to be an "advantaged player" and was no longer allowed to play card there. They arranged for him to leave by car service.

While counting cards isn't illegal, it is not generally allowed (call it "frowned upon") by casinos and can get you kicked out. Affleck is a well-known high-roller who has long had an open love for cards.
