Lindsay Lohan Asks For More Time In Leggings Lawsuit
Posted by Joseph Lee on 05.05.2014

Radar Online reports that Lindsay Lohan told the judge in her leggings lawsuit that she has been overwhelmed her miscarriage and other events after leaving rehab that she needs more time to prepare.

She's a defendant in a lawsuit against her former leggings company 6126 Leggings by former partners DNAM Industries LLC. DNAM served the papers "over the Christmas and New Year's holidays." She never responded and was found by the court in default. She then asked for more time to file a response and the judge allowed it.

She said in the papers: "When I was in rehab, [my attorney] was unable to contact me to discuss the case. After I completed my 90 day program I moved back to New York. I have been overwhelmed since leaving rehab and dealing with my sobriety and a miscarriage."

The judge allowed her to submit the response denying the claims of DNAM. She plans to testify in her own defense. This comes after several sources claimed that her miscarriage story was an attempt "to garner sympathy and explain unprofessional behavior."
