Deleted Scene From Amazing Spider-Man 2 Reveals Potential Return (SPOILERS)
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.05.2014

Before there was the post-credits ad for X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 apparently had a scene which teased the potential return of Norman Osborne. GeekTryant reports that the post-credits sequence that was cut shows the man in the hat (who we now know to be Gustav Fiers) showing up in OsCorp's labs and approaching a cryogenically-frozen head that belongs to Norman (played by Chris Cooper in the film) and saying, "Wake up old friend."

You can see stills from the cut sequence below. Whether this will come into play in future films considering it isn't in the final film is yet to be known.
