Investor Of Spring Breakers Suing Producers
Posted by Joseph Lee on 05.06.2014

TMZ reports that a man who invested in Spring Breakers is now suing producers after getting nothing from the film. Wicks Walker said he gave $700,000 for the film and was told producers needed it to keep their stars, including James Franco, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens. Walker says he doubts the movie would have been made without his contribution.

He also said that he hasn't received any of the profits, even though the film has earned $14 million in the US. Walker claims the producers took money that should have been given back to the investors for their own profit. Walker was given an "executive producer" credit and a $483,000 tax credit. He's now suing for almost $1.4 million.
