Oscar Isaac: 'J.J. Abram's Approach to Star Wars: Episode VII Is Refreshing'
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.15.2014

Now that he's officially part of the cast for Star Wars: Episode VII, Oscar Isaac has been talking about the film. He hasn't been dropping any specific details of course, in order to avoid earning the wrath of Disney and J.J. Abrams, but he told Digital Spy that he's excited to play his character (whoever that may be).

Isaac said, "There was about a month where I already knew that I'd been cast, before the announcement, so it was tough to keep it under wraps. But you know, secrets can be fun. I was a huge Star Wars fan growing up my family collects the toys, and we had Star Wars parties where everyone would dress up as their favourite character."

He added, "JJ and I have just been talking a lot about the character his enthusiasm and his collaborative nature are so refreshing in a movie of this size."

The film will release on December 18th, 2015.
