A new video interview...
Superhero Hype has posted a new video interview with Hugh Jackman about playing Wolverine for the seventh time in X-Men: Days of Future Past. He first played the character fourteen years ago in 2000's X-Men, which was also directed by Bryan Singer.
The plot sees a future Wolverine's consciousness sent into the Wolverine of 1973 to team with a younger Professor Xavier (James McAvoy), Beast (Nicolas Hoult) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) to stop Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) from killing Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), the inventor of the Sentinels, which have been killing mutants in the future.
In the interview, Jackman not only continues to show his love for the character, but says there are still more layers to Logan to explore and the scripts are getting better. He also revealed if the next Wolverine storyline could be "Old Man Logan" or "Alpha Flight". Jackman also revealed that he would like to see Marvel characters from different studios come together, and that it may happen one day. He added that there is a plan in place for the third Wolverine movie and the next few X-Men movies.
Days of Future Past will be out next Friday, May 23.
