Arrow Cast Talk Season 3 Villain, Possible New Canary, More
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.20.2014

The cast of Arrow spoke with TVLine about the next season of the show, which premieres in the fall on the CW. Check out some highlights:

On the season three villain: Stephen Amell (Oliver) said he knows who the big villain of the next season is, but didn't identify them. He noted, that while Slade was "omnipresent" in season two, "I don't think that will necessarily be the case in Season 3. It's going to be a little bit different than in Season 2."

On Malcolm and Thea: John Barrowman (Malcolm) said that his character will likely groom Thea--who went with him in the finale--for a greater purpose that may involve getting revenge on those who wronged her. He said, "He's got to train her to be a powerhouse, to be a tough bitch. She's tough now, but she's got to be tougher."

On Laurel potentially becoming Black Canary: With Sara having left with Nyssa al-Ghul and the League of Assassins, it appears Laurel may take on the role of Canary. Katie Cassidy said with a smile, "What do you think? I do think the torch has been passed. I get that feeling, and I think everybody else gets that feeling." Cassidy notes she is working out more for the role, so make your assumptions.
