Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight Reportedly to Shoot in November
Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.27.2014

According to ShowBiz 411, Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight is now back on track for a November shoot. The site reports that Tarantino is currently working on a rewrite of the western, and that the cast from the screenplay's recent live reading set to star. The cast would include Zoe Bell, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Kurt Russell and Amber Tamblyn. Production is planed to take place in Wyoming.

Tarantino had previously filed a lawsuit against the website Gawker for linking to his unproduced screenplay and making it available on the Internet. Tarantino claimed that Gawker "crossed the journalistic line" when they linked the script, but eventually withdrew the lawsuit "without prejudice", which did give him the right to re-file the suit at a later date. At the time he had decided to not move forward with the project, but like most things, plans have seemingly changed.
