Zombieland Director Up For Ghostbusters 3 Job
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.31.2014

Ruben Fleischer is up for a couple of hot jobs in Hollywood. As previously reported, Fleischer is one of the candidates to take over for Edgar Wright on Ant-Man and now The Wrap reports that he's up for the directing gig for Ghostbusters 3.

The site notes that Fleischer just had a daughter and "may be reluctant to take a demanding gig that will require such a big commitment. He's also being considered to direct Ghostbusters 3 for Sony." Fleischer directed Zombieland and 30 Minutes or Less for the studio and even included a Ghostbusters shout-out in the former film through Bill Murray.

Ghostbusters 3 is likely to go into production some time after Ant-Man does, so that may factor in considering his family situation.
