"I shouldn't have said that..."
TMZ reports that Jonah Hill became so irritated by a photographer mocking his outfit that he eventually used a homophobic slur and said "suck my d*ck, you f****t!"
He was in Larchmont in Los Angeles this past weekend when photographers asked him questions. He tried to keep quiet but then a photographer mocked his floral print shorts and said: "I like the shorts though, bro. They are pretty sexy." The photographer followed him for around half a minute before deciding to say goodbye. That's when Hill used the harsh language.
Hill has supported gay rights in the past and slammed Russia for its anti-gay laws before the Winter Olympics.
TMZ also reports that Hill made an appearance on Howard Stern's radio show today and apologized for his comment, even though Stern claimed he couldn't hear it in the clip. He said: "What I said in that moment was disgusting ... I shouldn't have said that."
He took the blame for what he said, but claimed that the photographer had been following him all day and made "hurtful" comments about his family. He also mentioned that after his interview with Stern, he was spending the rest of his day with a gay friend who is getting married soon.
