New Photos Show A Gray-Haired Arnold Schwarzenegger In Terminator: Genesis
Posted by Joseph Lee on 06.06.2014

There are now new photos from the set of Terminator: Genesis which feature Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title role, with gray hair.

There's a perfectly reasonable explanation for why the cyborg is older. Schwarzenegger himself said months ago: "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

Of course, the Terminator himself said he was "living tissue over a metal endoskeleton" in T2: Judgment Day. It just makes sense that living tissue would age.

The film is being directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: the Dark World) from a script by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. It also stars Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung Hun Lee and Matt Smith. David Ellison and Dana Goldberg will produce for Skydance Productions. Skydance's Paul Schwake, Annapurna Pictures' Megan Ellison, Kalogridis and Lussier will executive produce. The film arrives from Paramount Pictures on July 1, 2015.

For legal reasons, we cannot post the photos. You can find them here and here.
