Fan-Made Video Combines All Marvel Films Into One Universe
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 06.13.2014

Okay, so let's pretend for the moment that this wouldn't require Herculean amounts of legal wrangling, the kinds of cooperation that Hollywood will never see and about ten hours or so worth of running time. If you set all that aside, this would be pretty damned cool. YouTube user SouperboyX has cut together footage from all of the Marvel-based franchises (New Line's Blade, Fox's X-Men and Fantastic Four, Sony's Amazing Spider-Man and of course all the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) into one single trailer for a film that will never happen: Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

The trailer cobbles together all the footage to turn the Tesseract from the MCU into a Macguffin again with Galactus (thankfully, not seen in his Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer gaseous form) headed to Earth in order to devour it with Dr. Doom planning to take the Tesseract as payment for delivering the planet to him. That forces all the various heroes (and Liam Hemsworth from Tron Legacy for some strange reason) to band together in order to save the planet. The trailer even incorporates the test footage from Ant-Man, trailer footage from Guardians of the Galaxy and bits from The Incredible Hulk with Liv Tyler as Betty Ross.
