Several Aardman Studios Shows Including Wallace & Gromit Headed To Amazon Prime Instant Video
Posted by Joseph Lee on 06.19.2014

Coming Soon reports that several Aardman Animation short films and shows are now available on Amazon Prime Instant Video in the US, including Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Timmy Time and Rex the Runt. The shows are available on hundreds of connected devices with a Prime membership. Shaun the Sheep includes seasons three and four and Shaun the Sheep: Championsheeps, as well as two new Timmy Time specials.

Wallace & Gromit is one of the most popular Aardman shows with two Academy Awards for its short films. It inspired both spin-off shows Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time, which were aimed at younger viewers. A feature film based on Shaun will arrive in the spring of 2015.

Brad Beale, Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon, said: "Our customers love great kids shows and we are proud to be the exclusive subscription streaming home for these popular Aardman shows. Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and the other Aardman shows have a wide-reaching fan base, and we know Prime members will enjoy watching these shows at no extra charge as part of their Prime membership."

Robin Gladman, Digital Content & Partner Manager for Aardman Animations, added: "Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Timmy Time and Rex the Runt continue to gain new fans, and we're thrilled to offer them to viewers exclusively on Prime Instant Video. As we get ready to release our Shaun the Sheep feature film next year, we know that Prime members will be eager to catch up on all the past adventures of their favorite animated characters."
