David Hasselhoff To Star In His Own Sitcom Hoff The Record
Posted by Joseph Lee on 06.26.2014

NME reports that David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider, Baywatch) will star in a new Dave sitcom called Hoff The Record. The six-part series is semi-improvised and is described as being similar in style to Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. It will be produced by Me & You (An Idiot Abroad), with co-stars set to be announced soon.

Hasselhoff said: "When I made Baywatch, I dreamed of one day having my own show on a channel named after me. They did name the channel after me, right?"

The series will be an exaggerated version of Hasselhoff's life as he tries to rebuild his career in the UK after several bad career choices and five divorces. In real life, he's only been married twice (to Catherine Hickland and Pamela Bach). He's had some success in the UK and Europe as he was a judge on 2011 season of Britain's Got Talent and hosted his own chat show on Swedish TV station TV3.
