Benjamin Bratt Joins The Cast Of Ride Along 2

Variety reports that Benjamin Bratt (24: Live Another Day, Despicable Me 2) has joined the cast of Universal's Ride Along 2. Tim Story will direct from a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. The plot hasn't been revealed but the film is expected to feature the two stars (Ice Cube and Kevin Hart) going to Miami.

Cube and Matt Alvarez will produce for CubeVision with William Packer for Will Packer Productions. Larry Brezner will also produce. Universal's executive VP of production, Scott Bernstein, will oversee for the studio. The film will be released on January 15, 2016.
