Marty McFly's Hoverboard In Back To The Future II Will Be Auctioned Off
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.10.2014

Radio Times reports that Marty McFly's Hoverboard from Back to the Future II will be going up for auction at the Vue cinema in London's Westfield shopping center in October. It's currently valued between £10,000 ($17,000) and £15,000 ($26,000). However, you can still look at the Hoverboard for free as it will be on display in an exhibition at the cinema before the auction.

Other items include a film crew jacket from the set of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, valued at £80 ($136); an aluminum chair designed for Dune by H.R. Giger, valued at £80,000 ($136,936); Captain Nemo's Nautilus Car from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, valued between £40,000 ($68,468) and £60,000 (102,702); a Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, valued between £15,000 ($26,000) and £20,000 ($34,234) and the leather biker outfit worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, valued at £22,000 ($37,657).

The exhibition runs for two weeks from October 1 until October 16, the day of the auction.
