Scandal’s Columbus Short Agrees to Stop Binge Drinking
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 07.12.2014

TMZ reports that Scandal actor Columbus Short admitted he needs to stop binge drinking in a recent meeting with a money manager.

Earlier this week, Short reportedly met with Ed Butowski, a Dallas money manager, who said Short realized he needs some help after several recent arrests. Butowski said he and Short discussed Short's drinking at length. According to Butowsky, Short does not think he has an alcohol problem and refuses to join a program, but he did admit he needs to cut back on binge drinking.

Short also reportedly knows he needs to cut bad influences out of his life to stay out of jail. Butowski urged Short to work with charities to "make his soul feel good." In addition, Short looked at rental houses in the Dallas area to get out of Los Angeles for a while.
