One More Joins NBC's Charles Manson Series Aquarius
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 07.14.2014

NBC is continuing to fill out the cast of their event series Aquarius, and have tapped a former Grey's Anatomy cast member to do so. TV Line reports that Gaius Charles, who also appeared on Friday Night Lights, will play Bunchy Carter in the Charles Manson-themed thirteen-episode series.

The 1960s-set drama stars David Duchovny as a cop who goes undercover to track Manson and his "family." Charles's character is described as "a former gang-banger who is now a fanatical Nation of Islam adherent whose hatred of the white man is evident. He preaches his isolationist doctrine in the inner city and those who don't adhere to his teachings are routinely threatened and intimidated. He has a run-in with his old nemesis, Hodiak (Duchovny), who uses some harsh tactics to ensure Bunchy's 'cooperation.'"

Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones) plays Manson in the series.
