More Details Revealed For Avengers: Age of Ultron
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.17.2014

Entertainment Weekly has some more details on Avengers: Age of Ultron, which talks about the villain and his motivations. Here are quotes from the cast about the character:

Chris Hemworth on how Ultron reflects his creator Tony Stark: "It's not the good version that could've come from [Stark's] intellect and personality. It's the bad son."

Chris Evans on Ultron's speech: "A lot of times when Ultron starts talking, it's beautiful. It's really intelligent stuff. He's out to do the things he wants to do because he's disgusted with X, Y, and Z. You could probably sit down with Ultron and have a really intelligent conversation. He could blow your mind with his views."

Ultron on why he's attacking humanity: "I know you're ‘good' people. I know you mean well… but you just didn't think it through… There is only one path to peace… your extermination."

The film will be released on May 1, 2015. It was written and directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Thomas Kretschmann, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader.
