Superhero Hype reports that a new photo has been released from Avengers: Age of Ultron, with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) on the Project Livewire motorcycle, which is from a scene in the film that also involves Captain America. It's Harley-Davidson's first electric motorcycle.
The film was written and directed by Joss Whedon. It also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Thomas Kretschmann, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader. The film arrives on May 1, 2015.
The motorcycle will be introduced to fans today at the San Diego Comic-Con as part of "Project Livewire: The Experience Tour". This is the latest motorcycle from the brand to be featured in a Marvel film after the Harley-Davidson Street 750 appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year. The motorcycles have also appeared in several Marvel movies and TV shows over the past few years.
Dino Bernacchi, Director of US Marketing at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, said: "Our partnership with Marvel continues to provide thrilling platforms to showcase our latest innovations to existing and new fans of the brand. Not one, but two bikes will be featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron – Project LiveWire and the all-new Street 750, which is now available at Harley-Davidson dealerships."
The motorcycle is not for sale, but is designed to get feedback on what riders want from an electric motorcycle. The brand is taking the cycle to consumers in the US. Fans in San Diego can see the bike at the San Diego Harley-Davidson dealership today and tomorrow. Fans can provide feedback to help decide the future of the motorcycle.
