Full Cast Revealed For Kickboxer Remake: Tony Jaa, Dave Bautista and More
Posted by Joseph Lee on 08.05.2014

Coming Soon reports that The Exchange CEO Brian O'Shea has announced the full cast for the 3D Kickboxer remake. Scott Adkins (The Bourne Ultimatum, Zero Dark Thirty) and Tony Jaa (Ong Bak, Fast & Furious 7) have joined a cast that includes Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), George St. Pierre (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Alain Moussi (X-Men: Days of Future Past). Stephen Fung (Tai Chi Zero, Tai Chi Hero) will direct. It was produced by Ted Field of Radar Films (Riddick, The Last Samurai), Dimitri Logothetis and Nick Celozzi. Mike Weber and Peter Meyer will executive produce. The remake will feature over twenty different martial arts disciplines.

Here's a synopsis: The story follows Kurt Sloan (Moussi), a talented martial artist who travels to Thailand where he must learn the secrets of the kickboxer to avenge his brother's death at the hands of Tong Po (Bautista).

O'Shea said: "Kickboxer will display a style of acrobatic, rapid-fire martial arts action that Scott Adkins is increasingly becoming synonymous with. Along with Tony Jaa, 'Kickboxer' has compiled a talented cast to push the boundaries of the martial arts form."
