Petition Started To Get Legend of Zelda Character Named After Robin Williams
Posted by Joseph Lee on 08.15.2014

TMZ reports that a new petition has been started to get a character in the Legend of Zelda games named after Robin Williams. Williams was such a fan of the video game franchise that he named his daughter after it. Williams was well known for his love of video games, including the Zelda series. He even appeared with his daughter in commercials for the series.

The petition can be found here. It asks for a character in one of the next games to be named Robin. It reads: "He won't get to play it, but he'll live on forever in a universe he always loved."

So far there have been 79,617 signatures.
