The Sopranos Creator Says Tony Soprano Is Not Dead
Posted by Ashish on 08.27.2014

Since the finale of The Sopranos aired seven years ago and left fans scratching their heads, debate has gone on about whether Tony Soprano actually died right after the show cut to black or if he continued to live on after the events of the series. Creator David Chase has been ambiguous about the issue for years, choosing to let viewers interpret it how they wish. Tons of theories on what the ending meant ensued on the internet.

Now, all these years later, David Chase has finally offered up a clue. Vox spoke with Chase and asked whether Tony dies in the finale. Chase shook his head "no" and said "No he isn't."

Let the fights over the finale begin again.
