411mania.com is once again looking to bring aboard some new writers! Please read the descriptions below and follow the instructions when applying.
Writing for 411mania.com looks great on resumes. We will also be happy to provide you with recommendations and things along those lines provided you contribute to the site as we expect you to. 411 writers also have access to advance copies of DVDs, albums, etc. that are sent to us by various media outlets. Above all else, writing for 411 allows you to showcase your thoughts with a massive community of readers in the tens of thousands. 411 generates millions upon millions of views per month and is one of the largest independently owned media websites in the world. Also note that this is not a paying job.

MOVIES
Columnist - We are looking for a writer to provide a UNIQUE voice via a weekly movie/TV-focused column. These columns would be editorials and opinion focused, not news focused like the News Reports. You would have to meet the weekly deadline we assign to you. Columns would have to be spelling and grammar checked. The key here is to provide a UNIQUE voice and perspective of the world of movies & TV. We do not want rehashes of our other columnists. Be yourself! News Report Columnist - We are looking for a writer to provide a UNIQUE voice via a weekly movie/TV-focused News Report column. These columns would be a mix of the latest movies/TV news and gossip along with your opinions on the subject and other creative sections. You would have to meet the weekly deadline we assign to you. Columns would have to be spelling and grammar checked. The key here is to provide a UNIQUE voice and perspective of the world of movies & TV. We do not want rehashes of our other columnists. WRESTLING
WWE Smackdown Reporter - We need a writer to do a report of WWE Smackdown each week and have the report posted within 15 minutes of the show ending. Reports would have to be spelling and grammar checked. An example of what we are looking for can be found here. Please send samples to Larry, Randle, and Ashish.
WWE Velocity Reporter - We need a writer to do a report of WWE Velocity (which is an online broadcast at WWE.com) each week and have a report posted to the site sometime before Sunday at 10PM ET. The show is usually posted to WWE.com on Saturday. Reports would have to be spelling and grammar checked. An example of what we are looking for can be found here. The Weekly Monitor - We are looking for a writer to take over the popular Weekly Monitor column. These columns offer funny captions to pictures from the week. The column would have to be posted to the site by Thursday night. Columns would have to be spelling and grammar checked. The key here is a sense of humor and the ability to offer jokes and wit relating to photos from both the left and the right.
