[Movies] Cohen Forced To Rap For Sweeney Todd
Posted by Ashish on 12.14.2006

Sacha Baron Cohen's singing voice is so bad that he will be forced to rap his lines for the new Tim Burton musical, Sweeney Tood. Cohen plays Italian tonic salesman and barber Adolfo Pirelli, the hairdressing rival of Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp), the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Cohen simply could not sing in an operatic voice and now director Tim Burton has told him to rap the lines ala Jim Broadbent in Moulin Rouge.
