New flick for Transformers star...
Shia LaBeouf has signed on to star in Dark Fields, a new techno thriller from director Neil Berger (The Illusionist). The film will be based on the book by Alan Glynn.
The plot revolves around a slacker (LaBeouf) who comes into possession of a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes you smarter. He experiences sudden financial and social success but soon discovers that the drug has lethal and lasting side effects, including 'trip-switching' - a phenomenon in which time moves with a stop-motion quality.

Shia is an amazing actor. He gives his all to every performance. I'll be looking
forward to this new film.

I don't know if he's an amazing actor but his movies aren't too bad. There's
alot of annoying teens being shoved down audiences' throats right now but he
seems the least bothersome of the bunch.
movie sounds like a rental, tho...

You people need to leave Shia alone, he will have a brighter future than any of
us could and wish we had. So don't hate on him, I love his movies and I'm with
Bolton that he will be the next Tom Hanks. It's not rare that we have someone
as young as I who can be successful in the entertainment business and not screw
up their lives like others have already done. He's intelligent, sweet, got good
looks and he's a good person, so leave him alone and let him make his money and
live his life. Bunch of haters!!!!!!

i don't hate him, or even think hes a bad actor. i just feel hes being
overexposed and i'm growing tired of him way too early in his career.
