Caan leaves film over dispute...
James Caan walked off the set of Nailed on Wednesday and his part in the film will now have to be recast. Caan got into a dispute with director David O. Russell. While filming a death scene for Caan's character, Russell wanted him to cough while he was choking to death on a cookie. Caan argued that his character would not be able to cough if he was choking. Russell then said they would shoot it both ways, but Caan figured his way wouldn't be used in the final cut of the film and walked off set.
Russell is known for his conflicts with actors. He famously traded F-bombs with Lily Tomlin on the set of I Heart Huckabees and got in a fistfight with George Clooney while filming Three Kings.
Nailed stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel in the story of a woman who gets a nail lodged in her head and subsequently becomes sexually uninhibited. She goes to Washington to fight for the rights of the bizarrely injured, where she encounters a senator (Gyllenhaal) who takes advantage of her condition. James Marsden, Catherine Keener, Tracy Morgan and Olivia Crocicchia also star.
as much as I love Jessica Biel,this sounds like the dumbest movie plot EVER!!!

Wow. That does sound terrible.
Caan is right, if youre choking you cant cough. If you could cough that would stop you from choking.
Only thing that could save this movie is a nude scene with Biel:)
