Vanity Fair defends photos, Disney says magazine took advantage of 15 year old...
15 year old Disney star Miley Cyrus is "embarrassed" over an upcoming photo spread in Vanity Fair Magazine where she appears semi-topless.
"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she tells ET. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."
Vanity Fair is defending the photos:"Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley. In fact, when BRUCE HANDY interviewed Miley, he asked her about the photo and she was very cheerful about it and thought it was perfectly fine."
However, a Disney Channel spokesperson says: "Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."
The magazine hits stores next week. We'll post the photos as soon as we get them.

I think this goes to prove that marketing and ad agencies are scumbags who'd pimp out a (admittedly stupid for going along with it then turning around and being upset) 15 year old girl for sales...either that or this world is full of paedo's who actually want to see that shit.

Fifteen is old enough for me. Show me the pics, give me five minutes with her bag, then I'm taking her to a hotel for room service. (poses)

Brilliant PR move on Disney's part. They know there's a segment of her fanbase who wants to see these... this way, they can deliver and still maintain her squeeky-clean image. Of course, Vanity Fair looks bad, but can claim they did everything by the book with the people there. The real winners in this situation: Internet pervs.

she could be 21...I still think she's funny looking. PASS!

she isn't mad at all. she just suddenly realized oh shit i could lose the Disney gig and this could turn into bad press. Upon this realization she decided to go into damage control mode and made those comments, i'd bet anything she loves the pictures and will have them framed on her wall, however neither she nor her father is stupid and they will stand by and watch people attack vanity fair.

Will 1337 and Peers must be gay. They act like 15 is 12. The people who cry "pedo" all the time like this are the ones who are looking at baby porn secretly every night in their moms basement.

The photos are on the net now.
BTW, Did South Park call it or not?!

Please. You can't see a god damn thing in those photos except part of her back. It really comes off to me in the article as though Miley was perfecly okay with the pictures - as was said, her folks were on-set and they all saw the pics as they were taken - but that Disney are the ones who're bullying her into apologizing for them. It's sort of a backwards way of generating PR. If anything, Disney are the scumbags here for stirring up controversy that doesn't exist.

And let's not forget that Billy Ray Cyrus was there when the pics were taken. If they were taking advantage of his little girl, he should have stepped in. Unless he was whackin the pud.

To those who want to see naked pictures of a 15 yr old girl:
A pedophile is a pedophile and you should be profoundly ashamed.

A 15-year old girl? Semi-topless? Photographed for a magazine? Ummm... Isn't that illegal? Or do these shoots not count as sexually suggestive?
