Semi-topless photos that Cyrus is "embarassed" about now online...
The controversial Vanity Fair semi-topless Miley Cyrus photo is below. As reported earlier, the 15 year old Disney star is now "embarassed" over the photos and Disney is claiming that Vanity Fair manipulated her into agreeing to take the photo (even though Miley's parents were at the photoshoot). Vanity Fair claims that Miley and her parents both saw the photo the day it was taken and approved of it.
There is nothing...NOTHING in that photo that can't be seen at the beach on any given day by any girl aged fifteen or YOUNGER. I repeat - Disney are the ones who're pushing for controversy here. I don't think anyone in the Cyrus family ever had a problem with these pics.

THIS is what the commotion is about? While I wouldn't be comfortable if my own hypothetical daughter posed for it, it's actually very artistic in style and not trashy at all. To put it another way, many prom dresses are more revealing than this.
She looks absolutely stunning, and I mean that in a non-predatory way. I wish more young women (preferably legal adults of course) would go this route instead of trashy pics and sex tapes.

Looks like she was in a pic that seems to be touched up to be a renissance painting. it's lovely and while it's a little err...grown up for miley, it's not exactly contreversial.

she's 15. she shouldn't be considered unnattractive, or for that matter hot by any means. she's a CHILD, and from what i can tell this is your standard vanity fair shot. it's almost as if disney is trying to cash in on the publicity and make their own little bubblegum tramp out of this poor girl. not everyone in hollywood needs to be a vagina flashing, neglegent mother, rehab frequenting crack whore!

I normally don't post here, but I stick to the wrestling part of this site, but as my name suggests, I listen to country. I don't watch this girl's show because I'm 27 and a man. But I gotta agree with hellboysetsfire here, which I don't often do. She is still a CHILD. Now the photo in and of itself isn't all that bad. I guess this is what they'd call tastefully or artistically nude. The problem is, it's a 15 year old girl. She can't even drive yet!! If she was three years older, none of this would matter to anyone. But it seems to me that SOMEone, be it Disney, Vanity Fair, whoever is trying to kill this girl's innocence WAY too early. There's no need for it. If I was Billy Ray, I'd have shitcanned this from the beginning. Like I said, if she was three years older, nobody would be talking, because it's NOT a trashy photo. But it is a photo of a child in a sexual context.

What's controversial is that she's only 15 and she's teasing nudity... that look..it's seductive. THis is the same girl that has 4 year old's idolzing her.
To a 30 year like you folks, the picture may not be a big deal, but to a parent, it's a different story. People are so ignorant sometimes. Just because it's not offensive to you, doesn't mean it's not offensive.
