[Movies] Paramount Planning Iron Man Sequel For 2010
Posted by Ashish on 05.02.2008

Iron Man opens in theaters today but Paramount's Brad Grey is already talking sequel. He told Entertainment Tonight that that assuming the first film makes a lot of money, he sees no reason why the second shouldn't come out in the same week in two years time (May 7th, 2010). Interestingly enough, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader opens that same week.

Paramount didn't produce the movie though. They were only a distributor. Iron
Man was totally produced by Marvel.

Unless Paramount comes on as a producer and helps fund it I suppose.

Saw the movie this morning and all I have to say is stay until after the end
credits and you will see how committed Marvel is to making these movies and
fast!

I saw Iron Man at the first showing and there was only like 40 minutes of action
and that was pretty much at the end of the movie. It is still a good movie but
im looking forward to THE DARK KNIGHT more. CAN'T WAIT TILL JULY 18!!!!!!!!!!!

this movie was great, stay after the credits, plus the new Dark Knight and Indy4
trailers make it totally worth it the price

@ Vmexican21..dude this movie was like an introductory film, much like Batman
Begins ....come to think of it there wasn't much action in the first batman
movie either...and also not everyone looks for only action in a movie, there a
whole lot of other aspects to the movie that was more enjoyable...so stop
hatin'..
