[Movies] Eckhart Speaks On Two-Face Role

Says character should make you "sick to your stomach"....
Aaron Eckhart plays Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight and recently spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the role and how it isn't getting as much attention as Heath Ledger's Joker.
"That's right, people don't really know yet," Eckhart says. "I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid."
There's a sliver of a glimpse of it in the newest Dark Knight trailer (the one
that came out this weekend)...look for the scene where Lt. Gordon is being
dragged away by cops - immediately after that, you see a half second clip of
Dent in a car with a pistol in his hand. The right side of his face is mostly
showing, but you definitely see the edges of some charred flesh on his obscured
left side.
I personally can't wait to see the makeup job on that. I'm glad it's been
under wraps so far and I hope they can keep it that way, since so much about
this movie has leaked.

I am really glad that Iron Man did so well. Robert Downey fought ALOT of demons
to get to this role and he did one of the best jobs I've seen him do in a long
time. Likewise with Favreau, who was always a great writer and now a great
director. But I don't think anything touches Nolan's depiction of the Batman
franchise. I think this will be one of the top grossing movies ever, I just
hope it will be because of it's artistic merits and not because of Heath
Ledger's death.
