[Movies] New Trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars To Debut Tonight

And check out the new movie poster for the animated flick!

LucasFilm has confirmed that a new trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars will debut TONIGHT on Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN, and Boomerang at 7:58PM ET. The trailer will be two minutes long.

The animated film opens August 15th with the ongoing series debuting this fall on Cartoon Network.

The 1st 2 series of Clone Wars were much more interesting than the 1st 2
prequels.  This doesn't look too bad except that we all know the final outcome
to just about any storyline they deliver.

This would be a cool poster if it was just Yoda and not those other 3 guys.
Also, this shoul have just been a poster, no need for the movie attachment.
Seems a bit lame.

I'm not an uber star wars fan. But i liked aotc and rots. The phantom menace
sucked i will give u that. But i will give clone wars a shot.

I don't know why they need a new Clone Wars series when they already made one.
It did its job - bridging the gap in between Episode II and Episode III. They
really should have told the Clone Wars story in the movies rather than using
those awful political plots.

Between the old cartoon and all those Clone Wars books and comics, having
ANOTHER series seems kind of superfluous. Plus, it looks like they're trying to
make 3-D versions of those awful "stylized" designs from the 2-D
cartoon.
