[Movies] Sopranos Creator Planning Feature Film
Posted by Ashish on 05.09.2008

The Sopranos creator David Chase is set to write, direct, and produce his first feature film for Paramount. It isn't confirmed what the movie will be about, but rumor has it that it will be another story focusing on the New Jersey underworld. The movie won't be related to The Sopranos though. Paramount has confirmed that Chase will be given total creative freedom on the project.

This is perfrect, a crime movie set in NJ, directed by David Chase, not realted
to The Sopranos. Now we can experience his greatness again, without
compromising the integrity of the show. Maybr a period piece, like Deuces Wild,
except good.

It woudl be cool though if in some underlined manner Tony Soprano is in a few
back shots or scomes in a scen to tease us only to leave it as quickly as he
came in :)
