Director and actor teaming up again...
The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory team of director Tim Burton, actor Johnny Depp, and screenwriter John August are now apparently working on a big screen version of he cult classic TV series Dark Shadows.
Burton will direct and produce, Depp will star, and August will write the script. Depp would play the lead role of vampire patriarch Barnabas Collins, played on the original 1966-71 series by Jonathan Frid and in a short-lived 1990s revival by Ben Cross.

i have high hopes for this, this is a team that has done some brilliant, if underappreciated work together, and the original 5 year Barnabas Collins and the one year remake are some of my favourite episodes of television ever.
