[Movies] DiCaprio On Akira & Ninja Scrolls
Posted by Ashish on 11.12.2008

Leonardo DiCaprio recently spoke with MTV about his production company turning the classic anime titles, Akira and Ninja Scrolls, into big screen movies.

In the interview, DiCaprio says he will produce but won't star in the films.

"I'm not really interested". So don't expect to see Leo riding on motorbikes or dreaming of teddy bears sipping milk anytime soon."

DiCaprio said this about Ninja Scrolls: "I'm a big fan of Japanese anime - [there is] another project called Ninja Scroll we're trying to get developed and made into a movie, and I know there a lot of loyal fans out there of the project and die-hard fans, so we're going to try to do the best job we possibly can and we're not going to make the movie until the script is in the right shape."

Awesome Leo! But for the love of GOD already, bring back Sailor Moon over here. The fans have been waiting for a live action movie for years. :)

@ COME ON LEO,

You do realize there is already a Sailor Moon live action series out there right?

COME ON LEO!!!, if you're serious, there's a Power Rangers type live action TV series of Sailor Moon that aired in Japan a few years ago. It is pretty much the best thing ever.

GUNDAM WING. That series has "Hollywood Blockbuster" written all over it. They could even make a trilogy.
