Tom Hanks Tops Entertainment Weekly's 100 Most Powerful List

Entertainment Weekly released their list of the 100 most powerful celebrities and 100 most powerful Hollywood executives last week.

Tom Hanks came in as the most powerful celebrity. Hanks how now delivered 7 $100 million dollar movies straight, not to mention his success with the HBO series, Band of Brothers. Oh and let's not forget about the independent film he co-produced, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, which has become the highest grossing indy film ever.

Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, and Julia Roberts followed Hanks on the list.

The HBO executive team of Jeff Bewkes and Chris Albrecht topped the list of most powerful Hollywood executives.

John Calley of of Sony Pictures, Amy Pascal of Columbia Pictures, Leslie Moonves, president of CBS, Kaz Hirai of Sony's video game division, and Barry Meyer and Alan Horn of Warner Brothers followed on the list.
