Roberto Benigni's fairy tale captures Italian records...

Roberto Benigni's Pinocchio set a record for biggest opening weekend in Italy this past weekend. The movie opened to $6.9 million, breaking the previous record of $5.78 million set by The Lord of the Rings. Pinocchio also stands as the most expensive Italian movie ever made at $40 million.
