Warner Bros. expects the wrestler-turned-actor to be the live-action Johnny Bravo...

Variety reports that Warner Brothers has purchased the rights to develop a live-action movie based on the Johnny Bravo cartoon series and wants the Rock to play Bravo.

The deal apparently came about when the Rock mentioned to Warner Brother executives that he was a big fan of the Johnny Bravo cartoon series.

The film will be produced by Marty Adelstein. Bravo, an original cartoon developed by Cartoon Network, has been a huge hit since its debut. Warner Brothers hopes to have the live-action movie out as early as next year.

Why the rock?He's mixed with hawian and black and johnnys white!Have Jim carrey be Carl.&Chevy Chase as pops.And why the hell do hollywood keep on doing this? By taking a beloved cartoon and turnit into a crappy live action movie?They did Scooby Doo, Popeye,Garfield,Alvin and chipmucks.And now Johnny Bravo?And why is Yogi Bear in 3D?Like what is Yogi going to do that I would to pop out at me?Like Im gon'a snach a picnic basket in 3D!Like inspector gadget he was my dude and you have Mattew Bodrick play him?And Dr.Evil is not supost to have a face!!!And Nickeloden making a live action Fairly Odd Parnets Movie!What the @$#%^&*().
