Gangs Of New York Finally Gets Official Release Date

Let's hope this one actually sticks...

Miramax has announced that the highly anticipated new Martin Scorsese movie, Gangs of New York, will now be released on December 20th.

The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Daniel Day-Lewis.

The film was set to be released on December 25th, but the date was changed due to another DiCaprio movie, Catch Me If You Can, being released that day.

The movie, expected to be a serious Oscar contender, has been changing release dates constantly for over a year now.
