All Too Well (News stories involving celebrity hook-ups and break-ups)
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth could be getting back together. The two had a secret meeting and Liam "begged" Miley to take him back.
I'm actually surprised by this. I never thought Miley and Liam would last and once they were done, they were done for good. But maybe Miley isn't ready to give up on her true love and Liam really wants the attention. As cynical as that sounds, I couldn't understand why Liam would be "begging" Miley to take him back until I realized that he's not very talented and his brother is far more popular. The only way Liam stays in the spotlight is if he's with Miley, who will be in the spotlight as long as she keeps doing shocking things, which should be at least another 10 years.
I still don't think things between these two will work out because really, how many couples, especially celebrity couples, work out at the age these two are at? Late 20's is when you find the one you're meant to be with, not early. They might get back together but me and this column have a better chance of surviving than Miliam.
Brandon Blackstock, the husband of Kelly Clarkson, has reportedly cheated on his pregnant wife with another woman, who is also pregnant and claiming that Blackstock is the father of the child.
Clarkson has of course denied these allegations but Blackstock hasn't exactly outright said they are a lie. As a fan of Kelly Clarkson, both her music and as a person, I hope these allegations aren't true because I'd like for her to be happy. But as someone who writes about celebrity gossip, I definitely expect this to be true. Blackstock was a talent manager when he met Clarkson and if television has taught me anything, it's that talent managers are some of the worst people in the entertainment industry. So I definitely wouldn't be surprised if he was just using Clarkson to increase his brand and make a little money while also going behind her back and knocking up some mistress.
Victoria Justice has split from her boyfriend Ryan Rottman, but is now dating Pierson Fode
Geez, I didn't even get a chance to celebrate Victoria Justice being single as she's already moved on to a new guy. Like all young celebrity couples, this one obviously won't last, but for now I'll be happy for Victoria. I just hope her career makes it. Ever since "Victorious" went off the air, Victoria hasn't really been seen and Ariana Grande has become the biggest star from the show. Victoria just finished working on a show called "Eye Candy" for MTV, which sounds like the TV version of every AJ Grey post. If that's what Victoria has been reduced to, I feel for her, but I'll be there to catch her when her current boyfriend breaks up with her for no longer being famous.
Better Than Revenge (News stories involving celebrity feuds and disses)
Barron Hilton, the brother of Paris Hilton, was jumped by a group of people and he claims that Lindsay Lohan is the one who put a hit out on him. Hilton's attacker claims that Lohan had nothing to do with it and that Hilton started the fight. Hilton plans on suing Lohan.
Now this is a juicy story. Two gossip darlings, fighting, conspiracy, possible lawyers, and so much more. But first, did anyone know that Paris Hilton had a brother? I'm actually shocked that this kid doesn't get into more fights because you know people are yelling things at him all the time about his sister.
This all sounds like a set-up masterminded by Paris Hilton to me. Barron got beat up because he thinks he's more important than he is, and instead of facing that reality, he decided to blame it on Lohan, who happened to be at the same party, on the advice of his sister. We all know that Hilton and Lohan have had an on-again off-again friendship for years and it appears that things are off-again between the two. Hilton, who has become pretty irrelevant ever since Kim Kardashian surpassed her for "most-famous sex tape featuring a talentless rich girl" saw this as her opportunity to get back into the spotlight for a bit, because nothing gets you in the spotlight like a celebrity feud. Even though Lohan isn't as popular as she once was, she's still a gossip Hall of Famer and people track her every move, just waiting for her to explode once again.
I hope this situation doesn't get resolved anytime soon and we get an epic feud out of it. Hilton vs. Lohan has been brewing for some time and now that siblings and fighting are involved, this has the potential to turn into a classic feud.
I Knew You Were Trouble (News stories involving celebrities in trouble)
Amanda Bynes is out of rehab and now living with her parents
It's been a crazy year for Amanda Bynes, but hopefully she's past everything and can just move on with her life. She had a nice run at the top for a month or so, getting into it with anyone and everyone on twitter and throwing around the word "ugly" like Precious at a Victoria's Secret show, but I much prefer my Amanda Bynes as the lovable little girl from "What I Like About You."
I truly hope that Bynes is now clean and she can move on with her life. We all love a good comeback story and Bynes is pretty talented, so I'm willing to bet that someone gives her a chance on a big movie to get her career back on track. Of course, fame probably led to most of her problems, so maybe she's better off lying low
In recent interviews, Kanye West compared performing on tour to being a cop or a soldier, saying, "I'm just giving of my body on stage… I'm putting my life at risk. This is like being a police officer or war or something." Not to be outdone, R. Kelly compared Chris Brown to Martin Luther King and Jesus, saying, "He got knocked down a little bit and he climbed up. You know, that sounds like Ali to me. That sounds like Martin Luther King to me. That sounds like a lot of the greats that have walked this earth. It even sounds a little bit like Jesus to me."
Both comments are just sad and stupid on so many levels.
Thousands of people perform on stage every night. Whether it's a concert or a broadway show, there are literally a hundred thousand performers out there every night. And not one of them comes close to being in as much trouble as a cop or a soldier. Sure, something could go wrong at a major concert. The performer could lose their voice, slip and fall, a set piece could fall over, something might collapse, but all of those things are very rare and when you're performing, you don't think about things like that and it's not really your main concern. Your main concern is putting on a good show for the people who paid to see you. Compare that to cops and soldiers. Their main concern is STAYING ALIVE BECAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE TRYING TO KILL THEM! Sure they want to "protect and serve the country" but if they're being honest, they'll tell you that above all, they want to stay alive. No one is trying to kill Kanye at a concert. People aren't showing up to his concerts with guns firing at him because he's wearing the wrong uniform. When that happens, that's when Kanye can compare himself to a cop or a soldier. You're not putting your life at risk on stage, Kanye. That's like saying everyone puts their life at risk every day just by walking out of the house, which is true, but it's not to the same extent as putting on a uniform and trying to contain people with weapons.
Now, R. Kelly, I understand that R&B singers like to stick together, but this is just stupid. So everyone who has been down but came back is like Martin Luther King or Jesus? Amanda Bynes is now Martin Luther King. Alec Baldwin will soon be Jesus. Chris Brown brought everything on himself. He hit Rihanna, he started bar fights, he's remained on drugs. He did a bunch of bad and stupid things and deserved to be ridiculed and criticized. And he really hasn't "climbed up" from those instances. He's still a complete moron who gets into trouble.
New rule: If you're going to compare yourself to tragic figures or actual heroes, you have to live that life for at least a month. So Kanye needs to be a cop or a solider for a month and R. Kelly needs to be treated like MLK during the 50's and 60's. Maybe then we'll stop comparing regular people and morons to people who actually do good and accomplish something.
The Lucky One (AJ Grey's Pic of the Week)
I don't really know who Emma K is, but she has some nice hands.
