Kid Rock was sober and meant no harm when he and his entourage visited the Waffle House in Atlanta early Sunday, October 21st. "Even before they ordered, Rock tipped the staff $300 and then offered to buy the whole place breakfast," a source revealed. "One annoying drunk guy starts running his mouth and came after Rock."
After Rock escorted the man outside, he locked him out. But then the man smashed a window and reentered, prompting a fight that landed Rock in jail on the misdemeanor charge of simple battery. The other man was hit with felony charges for damage he did to the restaurant.
Also, Kid Rock has been accused of stealing a guitar line in his latest single "So Hott" from a a track titled "Slow Death" by Maurice Foreman who copyrighted the song in 1997. You decide.

Disturbed have a new album which currently carries the title of Indestructible in the works for a spring 2008 release date. The band will self-produce their new album which is currently being recorded in Chicago. Front-man David Draiman recently said the album is lyrically and musically "dark, very dark" and that he feels the album is much more complex and foreboding than anything they have done in the ten years they have been a band. Further commenting, he says:
"There are a couple of songs that people will probably take issue with," he said. "One in particular I can see becoming a problem, but I hope not. I have a funny feeling that some of the Bible Belt people might not be too happy with this."
Disturbed should be finished tracking Indestructible by the end of the year. While Draiman isn't positive just how many cuts it will feature, he does anticipate the disc will include the tracks "The Night," "Run," "Deceiver," "Enough," "Inside the Fire" and "Torn."
Avenged Sevenfold have found themselves defending the mainstream sound of their new self-titled album which is due out on October 30. Vocalist M. Shadows said,
"We've always been very ambitious in terms of our goals and our dreams of where we want the band to be. We're interested in making something palatable that still has heavy guitars. We like pop music and we want to get more people listening."
Korn have written and recorded an original song inspired by the upcoming Playstation 3 videogame "Haze". The track, which shares the name of the game, will be launched to radio and video outlets in November to coincide with the release of the game, which is expected in stores on November 27. Speaking on the track, band frontman Jonathan Davis had the following to say:
"Gaming for me is a religion and Haze is the shit! I had to come up with a track that can hit up that kind of rush I get from the game and I think we really rocked it!!"
In other Korn related news, the recent physical altercation between band guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer and a member of Droid has been smoothed out and apologies were exchanged. The argument was apparently fueled by alcohol and both parties regret it. The same way both parties' mothers regret conceiving them.
Fear Factory guitarist Christian Olde Wolbers and drummer Raymond Herrera have started a new side project with Jon Howard of Threat Signal handling the vocals. The group are currently deciding upon a name and working on new material.
The track listing has been confirmed for Mudvayne's forthcoming new/live/rarities collection By The People, For The People. Sporting a selection chosen primarily by the fans:

It would appear as though there is trouble in the CKY camp as a physical altercation recently broke out between various members of the group. In a posting on the band's official website, band guitarist Chad I Ginsburg had the following to say:
"fact of the matter is, yes, i broke my foot at the gig at pops in st. louis and now cant stand on it.. so fuck you! what's really going on is, deron miller has quit CKY to pursue his own band. jess and i are continuing on with CKY..."
Meanwhile, posting on his World Under Blood Myspace page, band vocalist/guitarist Deron Miller has issued the following statement:
"i didnt quit CKY. after the san diego show i started getting really depressed and couldnt eat or sleep, so of course i started drinking more and more moderately. then in St. louis i walked to the back of the bus where chad, jess, hanna, matt cole, and our sound guy jeremy were stitting in the back with the door closed. before i walked in, i listened to them one by one trash me for about 10 minutes shit talking some extremely personal painful things that were mostly untrue and stupid...the most painless and laughable one being how i spend all day on the computer refreshing the World Under Blood page to get hits! bottomline...EXTREME JEALOUSY...it was chad's idea to do side projects, and when his didnt pan out he changed his mind. well too late...WUB started taking off and jess started doing other projects that no one cared about too so when i opened the door to tell them that i heard everything they said, a fight broke out, i slapped jess' hat off of his head and the 2 of them jumped me after i put on my backpack to leave the bus. there must have been a 3rd because i felt at least 5 limbs. chad is obsessed with world under blood. he cant handle that i have 2 things going on at once and he doesnt. i didnt complain when he was selling his emo and R+B shirts at cky shows. he has wanted to beat me up for years and he finally got his chance with jess giving a helping hand. i left the tour to detox and am thinking of returning if i can get and return some apologies because lets face it, cky going on would both be laughable and illegal...so thats what happened. all i wanted to do was finish this fucking record...but greed took over and shows started getting booked and everything was fine until i started getting a little antsy and depressed. then to overhear your "friends" and people you pay talking shit about you, it was enough at that point after a month on that bus to stand up for myself. maybe not go nuts, but say or do domething. I NEVER SAID I WAS LEAVING CKY TO PURSUE MY OTHER BAND...thats so fucking stupid. just chad, once again, not being able to get world under blood off of his mind. by Deron
now i better get off of my site before the page refreshes!
BTW...I MEANT CKY "GOING ON WITHOUT ME WOULD BE LAUGHABLE AND ILLEGAL" WHO WOULD WRITE THE SONGS??"
When asked about the groups future plan's without Milller in a posting on their official website, band guitarist Ginsburg further indicated that they plan to continue on without Miller, stating:
"...we don't wanna let CKY die and won't. we are in a bind right now and we will sort through it with diligence and balls. we are NOT quitters."
Meanwhile, Miller has apparently been trying to post his side of the story on the CKY website, only to have it deleted, speaking on that he said the following:
"I guess i proved my point on askcky cuz...
they keep erasing it...they wont let me answer any questions on the alliance site now without erasing them. but it doesnt matter because it was up long enough for fans to copy and paste my story for everyone to find out the truth. they dont want you to know the truth because the truth is horrible, thats why the chad broken foot thing has been the excuse...obviously we know now that that was a lie, no?
the only story they want you to see is their CKY pride and how they'll be able to move forward without me. if thats to be true then A. they better write 15 songs quick because theyre not using mine for the new record. B. they better change their name to something else because everyone in the world knows who came up with the name and 3. im sure they'll have to find a way to sell this "product". i hope it doesnt come to that."
It looks as though the rather messy war of words that took place in the CKY camp a few days back may blow over as Deron Miller has now posted the following update:
"turns out this VLB tour was a big mistake. we should have just stayed home and finished the CKY record. of course, right after i leave the tour the band rents a rehersal space in chicago to try and push on without me and chad falls and breaks 2 ribs! this tour seemed to be cursed. as far as i know the rest of CKY will soon be on their way home having to leave the VLB tour and maybe finally after some time blows over we can finally finish our 4th fucking record!!!!
i am truly sorry that this happened to chad because he is my cky bro and always will be no matter what he does or what happens...i think this was the universe's way of telling the 4 of us to grow the fuck up. well...i heard it loud and clear.
