The band will be touring this spring with Styx and REO Speedwagon.

Papa Roach have officially parted ways with drummer Dave Buckner and will soon begin writing new material for their next album. The split was described by band frontman Jacoby Shaddix as amicable.

Lamb Of God are now planning to release their new DVD effort this spring. Frontman Randy Blythe recently discussed his band's upcoming new album, stating that the group plans to fully begin writing new material in March. Furthermore, he also revealed that he and Steve Zing of Samhain fame have started a side project together, among other things.

H.I.M. are set to release their new live CD/DVD Digital Versatile Doom: Live At The Orpheum Theatre on March 11.

Ipecac has now officially confirmed a February 5 release date for Isis' Holy Tears single. The effort will feature a live version of the title track recorded during the band's late 2006 outing with Tool as well as a video directed by Dominic Hailstone ("Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone") for the song. In addition, it will also feature a remix of "Not in Rivers, But In Drops" done by label mates the Melvins and Lustmord. Meanwhile, a similar-styled single for the band's track "Not In Rivers, But In Drops" has been bumped back to a presently unannounced release date.

Tracks from Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, Black Sabbath, At The Gates, The Haunted, Iron Maiden, Evile and more are all scheduled to see a release for play as premium downloadable content in the multi-platform videogame "Rock Band" beginning in March.

Mindless Self Indulgence will be releasing a digital-single for their track "Mastermind" on February 12. The song comes from the group's new album If, which will be released on April 29.

God Forbid recently held a contest for fans to send in submissions for a title for their new DVD effort and a winner has now been decided with Beneath The Scars Of Glory And Progression taking the honors. The outing is expected out in the spring, while the band will enter the studio early next month to begin recording their new album with producer Eric Rachel (Atreyu, Zao).

Details have been revealed for Unearth's upcoming 2-DVD set Alive From The Apocalypse. The effort runs as follows:

Also featured are all of the band's videos, live performances of two songs, a photo show, band member interviews and commentary from members of Killswitch Engage, Slipknot, Hellyeah, Lamb Of God, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying and more. The set will see a March 18 release date.

3 Doors Down will release their new self-titled album on May 6.

Tantric's third studio album The End Begins is set to be released on April 22. The first single "Down and Out" can be streamed on MySpace and will be impacting radio on February 12.

Ashes Divide's debut album Keep Telling Myself It's Alright has been delayed a few weeks and will now see an April 8 release.

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx stated recently that the band has 10 songs completed for a new Crue album that will be titled The Dirt. With Tommy Lee out of the band, there's been no word yet on a replacement.

Warning: Touring Updates May Lead To Spontaneous Moshing

The first Stone Temple Pilots reunion show has reportedly been confirmed for May 17th in Columbus, OH at the Rock on the Range. The band is expected to reunite for a handful of summer concerts.

Rumors have been swirling as of late regarding the fate of this year's "Ozzfest" and "Sounds Of The Underground Tour" - especially in the face of the "Rockstar Mayhem Tour" and "Gigantour". However, it now appears that the "Sounds Of The Underground Tour" is the first confirmed casualty. According to Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, the "Sounds Of The Underground Tour" won't be taking place this year, nor will it be renewed for future runs.

dredg have been added to this year's "Coachella Music Festival" and will be playing the April 26 date of the festival. The group expects to play a few California area shows prior to the festival to warm up with more details to be announced shortly. Following that, the band will enter the studio to begin recording their new album, followed by a full tour this summer.

Becoming The Archetype will hit the road with Inhale Exhale, Once Nothing and A Plea For Purging in April/May. No confirmed dates have been released, at this time.

From Autumn To Ashes drummer Jeff Gretz recently suffered two broken bones in his foot and as such will be sitting out the bands touring plans for the next few months. Graham Griffith of the band Flood Of Red will be filling in on most of the stops, while band frontman/former drummer Francis Mark will also fill in for a few of the shows. Joe Zizzo of The Sleeping will fill in on drums for the upcoming Australian dates.

Stonerider (ex-Fight Paris) and Airbourne will hit the road together from February 21st to March 31st. Stonerider's debut album Three Legs Of Trouble saw a release on January 29.

In light of Five Finger Death Punch recently exiting the tour, Black Tide have been added to the February 21st-March 07th leg of All That Remains' forthcoming headlining run with Chimaira, and on select dates, Divine Heresy and Light This City.

Chiodos will be embarking on a U.S. run in April with MxPx. Dates and venues have yet to be announced.
