Motley Crue's new studio album Saints of Los Angeles is set to arrive in stores on June 17. The first single and title track from the album features guest vocals from Buckcherry's Josh Todd, Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix, James Michael from Sixx A.M. and Chris Brown from Trapt. The track can be steamed on MySpace. A CD sampler featuring tracks from the band's on the tour will be available on June 17 exclusively at Best Buy.
Candlebox's new album Into the Sun is scheduled to be in stores on July 22. The first single "Stand" goes to radio on May 12.
Metallica will launch a new site, missionmetallica.com, to promote their new album in May. The site will allow fans to "experience the new album before it's done". The album is due out later this year.
Papa Roach have announced the addition of former Unwritten Law drummer Tony Palmero. Palmero replaces Dave Buckner who left the band in January. The band is currently in the studio with producer Jay Baumgardner (Seether, Coal Chamber) recording their new album, Days of War, Nights of Love, which is due out later this year.
Everlast's new album Love, War and the Ghost of Whitey Ford is due out on June 24. The album's first single "Letters Home From the Garden of Stone" is available on MySpace.
More details have been released regarding Achozen, the group which sees System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian teaming up with RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, Kinetic 9 and Reverend William Burke. The band has wrapped the recording of their debut album which will see a summer release through Odadjian's digital label urSESSION. The effort will feature guest appearances from John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Killa Priest, GZA, George Clinton and more. Furthermore, the group will be premiering their first single "Deuces" on April 22.
Haste The Day have tapped Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, The Agony Scene) to produce their new album which they will begin recording in Indianapolis, IN next week. The effort is expected out later this year.
Allele has announced that the band's original vocalist, Wally Wood, has returned. The band will play their first show back on August 16th in Jacksonville, FL and then plan to hit the studio right away.
From Autumn To Ashes are planning a wide release for their "Live At Looney Tunes" effort which was captured during an in-store performance in Long Island, NY this past January. The effort is currently expected to see a release in June and will feature the following track listing:

Buckcherry are looking to hit the studio in May with hopes of a summer release for their upcoming follow up to their 2006 Platinum certified album 15. According to Billboard, the band is making the new album under a mission statement to be "The Next Great American Rock Band". Buckcherry front-man Josh Todd says, "Our next goal is to be an arena rock band. We want to be a band that can sell out an arena on our own as a headliner."
Judas Priest will release a new concept album, Nostradamus, on June 17. Three versions will be released, including a regular double CD, a CD deluxe hardbound version, which features a 48-page booklet, and a super deluxe version with three vinyl records and a poster. The album recounts the life of the mysterious 16th Century French prophet.
Fuel have announced that if you download their latest release Angels & Devils from iTunes, you'll also get exclusive acoustic versions of "Shimmer", "Hemorrhage", "Falls On Me", and "Forever".
The Autumn Offering have parted ways with their bassist Sean Robbins. The split was described by the band as amicable with both parties deciding it was time to move on. A replacement for Robbins has not yet been announced.
Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington took part in the video shoot for Busta Rhymes' new single "We Made It" earlier this week. Linkin Park themselves also guest on the aforementioned track which will appear on Rhymes' new album Blessed, due out June 17. This is not going in the CD Release section, folks.
Underoath expects to release the new album on September 2. It will be preceded by a live CD/DVD effort dubbed Survive, Kaleidoscope on May 27.
Guns N' Roses front-man Axl Rose has denied rumors that the band will be taking part in an upcoming TV reality series. Chinese Democracy has reportedly been completed and turned over to the bands label, Geffen Records. However, Rose and the label are in disagreement over money and rights issues.
Unearth are planning to spend the immediate future finishing up writing new material for their next album which they hope to have in stores by October. In addition, the band has confirmed that Derek Kerswill of Seemless fame will be handling the drumming duties in the studio for the effort.
Deron Miller of CKY fame has been making progress with the tracking for his World Under Blood group. In addition, Miller has also signed on to serve as Malevolent Creation's second guitarist for their upcoming overseas touring plans.
The Wallflowers front-man Jakob Dylan has released a three track EP titled Seeing Things – EP to iTunes. Dylan will release his solo debut Seeing Things on June 10.
Soulfly has set Conquer as the title to their new album which will see a July 29 release date. The track listing for the effort runs as follows:

More details have been announced for this summer's "Monsters Of Rock Festival" which will take place at the McMahon Stadium in Calgary, AB on July 26. Headlined by Ozzy Osbourne, the show will also see performances from Judas Priest, Serj Tankian, Hatebreed, Cavalera Conspiracy, Voivod, Testament, 3 Inches Of Blood, Priestess, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Zimmers Hole.
Chris Cornell has postponed his previously announced European tour until the fall. Rescheduled dates will be announced soon. Cornell is currently working on his new solo album with producer Timbaland. A September release is expected.
3 Doors Down are planning a Summer tour with Staind and Hinder. Dates will be announced soon.
More details have emerged on the "Justice Tour" which will be headlined by Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave fame who will be playing under his "The Nightwatchman" persona. The trek will also feature a number of other artists appearing at select stops of the tour, including State Radio, Maynard James Keenan of Tool, etc. Ben Harper, Slash of Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver fame, Mike Einzinger of Incubus, Davey Havok of A.F.I., Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction, etc. fame. The new Judas Priest track is available for download/streaming on the net (the title track Nostradamus) and it is absolutely amazing, I recommend anyone check it out Pries fan or not
