Michael Jackson has proposed a jungle theme for his 50-date residency at London's O2 Arena. The stage setting would include several exotic animals and Jackson himself would enter on an elephant..
Both the Captive Animals' Protection Society and PETA have made statements opposing the plan.
A spokesperson for PETA said: "These exotic animals belong in Africa, not the O2 arena among screaming fans, bright lights and stage explosions. These wild animals are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them when they are forced to perform under stressful conditions. Michael needs to learn to leave exotic animals alone."

How it this news? The story about MJ having his show full of animals comes from a tabloid. There isn't any truth to it.

I believe in the humane treatment of animals, and even support animal products that cost more if they are treated humanely. But I HATE PETA, and think them attacking Jacko for riding an elephant is fucking retarded.

Animals aren't are equals...clearly they are better than us. They don't sit around message boards acting like douches all day. Except maybe the tree sloths...I have my suspicions about them.
