Meg White, Trent Reznor Get Engaged

Not to each other though...

Meg White of the White Stripes has announced that she has gotten engaged to Jackson Smith, the son of punk icon Patti Smith and MC5's late guitarist Fred Smith. The two are set to get married on May 22 in Nashville.

Meanwhile, Trent Reznor has gotten engaged to Mariqueen Maandig of West Indian Girl. The following statement was posted on the West Indian Girl website next to a photo of Reznor and Mariqueen.

"In case u havent heard the news, mariqueen got engaged. everyone in the west indian girl camp is super excited and happy for her. q's an awesome person, friend and bandmate and she couldnt be marrying a cooler guy. talk about analog and digital love - their kids might all have moogs for arms."

Congats to the happy couple, my wife will be sad - she always told me the only person she would leave me for or cheat on me with would be Trent (and I told her I might be okay with that)
