Jimi Hendrix's Roadie Says Manager Killed Hendrix

Roadie says manager admitted murder during drunken rant...
Jimi Hendrix's former roadie, James Wright, claims that the guitar legend was murdered by his manager, Michael Jeffrey. Wright says in his new book, Rock Roadie, that Jeffrey told him that he stuffed Hendrix full of pills and alcohol in order to kill him so that he could claim Hendrix's life insurance. Wright claims that Jeffrey admitted the whole thing to him in 1971, two years before Jeffrey himself was killed in a plane crash.
"I can still hear that conversation, see the man I'd known for so much of my life, his face pale, hand clutching at his glass in sudden rage," Wright wrote in the book.
Jeffrey is quoted by Wright as telling him: "I was in London the night of Jimi's death and together with some old friends... we went round to Monika's hotel room, got a handful of pills and stuffed them into his mouth...then poured a few bottles of red wine deep into his windpipe."
Jeffrey was apparently worried that Hendrix was going to fire him soon. Wright says that Jeffrey was the beneficiary of Hendrix's $2 million life insurance policy.
"I had to do it. Jimi was worth much more to me dead than alive," Jeffrey is quoted as telling Wright. "That son of a bitch was going to leave me. If I lost him, I'd lose everything."
Hendrix's body was found in September of 1970 at a room in London's Sanarkand Hotel. At the time of Hendrix's death, a coroner recorded an open verdict, stating that the cause was "barbiturate intoxication and inhalation of vomit".
I don't buy it. Where was this douche bag with the story 37-38 years ago?

*Agrees with Mydnite"
Usually if something is a miss, you hear about it after a short while after the incident. Nearly 40 years later and he tells his story...Only a person at the end of their ropes would do one of two things 1)Either murdered someone 2) Wants money.
Latter here, and yet feels more of the former.

Uh, yeah, what the fuck.
Jimi would have force vomited. Or, ya know, called 911? He wouldn't have just laid there and died. What complete fucking bullshit. That, or Jimi voluntarily took these things, that were given to him by the manager guy, in which case the story is totally exaggerated and embellished and still bullshit.

Krist Novoselic's autobiography will be released after Courtney Love's death and tell of a secret interview they had where Love admitted to hypnotising Kurt Cobain into thinking his face was a target so she could steal his wallet afterwards and buy a lottery ticket.

There is information about J.Edgar Hoover & members of the Govt. during the 60's that were responsible for the elimination of several prominent figures and leaders who were posed as threats to the govt. MLK,JFK,RFK,John Lennon,Malcom X,Jimi Hendrix and others. Musicians who questioned the status quo, religion, influenced free thinking, and talks of revolution were targets such was fate of John Lennon. Hendrix was a target because of his great influence on the masses but more importantly his race being a black man, revered and being called a god by white people did not sit well with inner circles of evil and racist govt. The targeting still existed up until now with other powerful music leaders whether their message was militant, concious or not(Tupac/Biggie) Anyone with incredible influence on the masses is always put under the microscope and if seen as a potential threat they would be literally, character assinatated or both. Then the govt covers it up through the media. There is a lot of info on the subject. Not trying make anyone believe me but keep an open mind. Much of it makes a lot of sense and not all of it is just conspiracy theories.
