The Johnny Cash-Barack Obama Connection

The Cash legacy lives on...
President Barack Obama and his family have been searching for a primary church for the past several months by checking out various places around Washington, D.C. Now, President Obama has announced he will instead make the Evergreen Chapel at Camp David his church home, following in the footsteps of former President George W. Bush
Obama said his decision was made partly because of the circus-like atmosphere that broke out when he attended different churches in DC.
Camp David's current chaplain is Lieut. Carey Cash. The 38-year-old Memphis native is a graduate of the Citadel and the great-nephew of Johnny Cash.
The Citadel is a "military school" with no connection to the military. It's a place of southern pride to practice an antiquated way of life where they believe physically and mentally abusing young men will shape them into normal humans for the rest of their lives. It should be torn down as it is a mockery of real military schools and a farce to educational institutions everywhere.

Have you seen children these days? They need their asses handed to them every now and again to set them straight and show them respect. Not to mention the amount of morons public schools are cranking out because of the "No Child Left Behind" bullshit. You don't learn what they try to teach you, I don't care if your friends advance, you get to try this grade again.
If you doubt me, spend a few hours walking through any shopping center. If parents are afraid to dole out Corporal Punishment, then send them someplace where they can get an education and an ass-beating at the same time.

Thanks for the completely relevant and necessary rant about a place that barely factors in to this fairly unimportant newsbite, Manbearpig. I'm guessing you didn't enjoy your time at The Citadel.
